Everyone is looking for an easy way to get their excess weight off, but what happens once the weight comes off? How do you maintain your new healthy weight that you achieved through the use of hoodia?
We all know that exercising, along with taking Hoodia, will do wonders to get weight off as well as help burn excess calories, but how important is a healthy diet when it comes to maintaining your goal weight? Hoodia will help suppress your appetite which is fantastic, but that doesn’t mean that the food you eat can be unhealthy, high calorie or high fat. If you choose to eat these foods on a regular basis then you will not be able to maintain your healthy weight.

In order to allow results to be at their best, you need to fuel your body with foods that are nutritious and that give your body energy to burn calories. You do not need to follow a strict diet in order to do this, just stick to a simple guideline and you will be able to stay healthy and keep your weight off.
- Be sure that the majority of your diet consists of whole grains, fruits and vegetables. By eating these nutritious low-fat foods you are providing your body with fuel that is low- calorie and filling. Try to stick to as many fresh fruits and vegetables as possible to avoid consuming too much sugar or sodium that can come from canned foods.
- You should consume 3 cups of calcium fortified foods daily. This can be through low-fat dairy products or any other foods that are fortified with calcium.
- Eat at least 5 -6 ounces of protein a day. A lot of people assume that the best forms of protein are meat sources but there are plenty of other options. Beans, nuts, seeds, soy, and lentils are all great ways to meet your protein needs without eating excess fats and calories. If you choose to get your protein through eating meat, make sure to eat very lean meats and bake it, broil it or grill it.
- Stay away from fried foods and foods cooked with a lot of butter, margarine, lard or shortening. Avoid foods that are full of sugars and salts. Try using other spices to season your food instead of these unhealthy choices.
- Lastly, drink lots of water! Water is the healthiest beverage you can provide your body and it helps fill you up and keeps your body hydrated. Stay away from drinks full of sugars and caffeine which are dehydrating and add extra calories to your diet.
Treating yourself to a favorite food occasionally is okay as long as you know your limit. Get good at reading labels on foods and know what is bad for you. With the use of hoodia you will have the advantage of having a suppressed appetite, just make sure the foods you supply your body with are of good quality. You can maintain your healthy weight and feel great doing so!
